North Central Kansas Medical Center has a highly trained team of therapists and assistants who provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and cardiac rehabilitation services. Our team works closely with one another and with other healthcare providers to deliver the highest quality care throughout your treatment plan. Tyler Deutscher, PT, DPT, Rehab Services Supervisor

Tyler Deutscher, PT, DPT, Rehab Services Supervisor - Tyler Deutscher went to Sterling College where he played baseball for the Warriors for 4 years and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He then earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas in 2016. Tyler has served as the Rehab Services Supervisor since January 2019. He is certified in Dry Needling and has completed additional education in concussion management, vestibular rehab, sports medicine, blood flow restriction training, and kinesiotaping.

Tori Ehlers, CCC-SLP, Speech Therapist

Tori Ehlers, CCC-SLP, Speech Therapist - Mrs. Ehlers graduated from Superior High School in 1992. She attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders in 1996. She went on to receive her Masters of Arts in Communication Disorders from the University of South Dakota at Vermillion in 1998. She worked with children from birth to 21 for the first 18 years of her career and in 2016 was hired by the Cloud County Health Center where she serves adults in skilled nursing facilities, acute inpatients, outpatients, and home health.

Lori Kemling, PT, Physical Therapist

Lori Kemling, PT, Physical Therapist - Lori attended physical therapy school at KU Med and graduated in 1999. She has worked at CCHC since 2007. She specializes in pediatric care and provides infant toddler services for OCCK and is trained in lymphedema management and dry needling.

Jody Cromwell, PTA

Jody Cromwell, PTA - Jody graduated from the Washburn University Physical Therapy Program in 1988. She has worked at Cloud County Health Center since 1998. Jody works with pediatric to geriatric aged patients in the inpatient/SNF, outpatient and home health settings.

Courtney Popelka, PT, DPT, Physical Therapist

Courtney Popelka, PT, DPT, Physical Therapist - Courtney went to Kansas State University where she graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology in 2019. She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2022. Courtney enjoys working with patients of all ages and has interests in both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy settings.

Jordan Branfort, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist

Jordan Branfort, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist - Jordan graduated from Clifton-Clyde High School before obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology from Kansas State University. He earned his Masters from The University of Kansas Medical Center. Jordan's Specialties include rehabilitation of the Upper Extremity as well as promoting independence and safety inside and outside of the home.

Richard E. Baxter, PT, DSc, ATC, Staff Physical Therapist

Richard E. Baxter, PT, DSc, ATC, Staff Physical Therapist - Richard attended the U.S. Army-Baylor University Graduate Program in Physical Therapy in 1994 where he earned his Masters of Physical Therapy Degree. He later obtained his Doctor of Science Degree (Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Physical Therapy) from U.S. Military-Baylor University Post-professional Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy Doctoral Residency Program.

Kristin Teel, PTA, Physical Therapy Assistant

Kristin Teel, PTA, Physical Therapy Assistant - Krisin has worked for Cloud County Health Center/NCKMed since 2020. She graduated in 2002 from Northeast Community Collee and has worked in many different settings including outpatient clinic, inpatient hospital care, skilled nursing facilities and home health.

Alyssa Linn, PT, DPT, Physical Therapist

Alyssa Linn, PT, DPT, Physical Therapist - Alyssa is a Concordia native and following her graduation at CHS in 2013, she attended Kansas State University. She earned a B.S. in Psychology in 2016 from KSU. She then attended the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at the University of Kansas Medical Center and graduated in 2019. Alyssa joined the rehabilitation staff at North Central Kansas Medical Center in 2022, after practicing as a PT in two other critical access hospitals in Kansas. She enjoys working and connecting with a wide variety of patients in her hometown.
