Foundation

The mission of the Cloud County Foundation for Health Care, Inc. is to inspire generosity and community support to sustain exceptional healthcare close to home. We work to ensure that our rural hospital has the resources, equipment and programs needed to care for every neighbor, every day.
Cloud County Foundation for Health Care, inc. is a separate legal entity from North Central Kansas Medical Center and is a qualified 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The Foundation was created in 1983 to secure and dispense financial aid for the operation, maintenance and expansion of facilities and services of the hospital and to otherwise contribute to the health care and well-being of the people of North Central Kansas.
The Foundation has provided funds to the hospital over the years in support of a wide range of needs including CT and MRI scanners, ultrasound machines, defibrillators, endoscopes and most importantly, a new medical facility which opened in November 2022! The board is governed by a 12-member Board of Directors, who elected to serve three year terms. Our current members are:
- Jack Widen, President
- Jayme Peterson, Vice President
- Pam Campbell, Secretary
- Ron Harrington, Treasurer
- David Garnas, Administrator
- Christy Hasch
- Kurt Kocher
- Trisha McDaniel
- Jane Richard
- Marsha Wentz
- Jeff Kindel
